Visit from Technical College

Þingvellir national park greets many schools through out the year and every time it is quite fun, at least for us. Today students from the Technical College came for a visit, as they have done previously in the past years. This is part of their course where they read he Story of Burnt Njáll or Brennu-Njáls saga. 

Many scenes of the saga occur at Þingvellir as there are many legal cases, plots and twist in the saga that have to be done at a thing site. This saga and other are one of many reasons that Þingvellir is a UNESCO heritage site.
