Iceland´s 80th Republic Anniversary

The coming days, June 15 - 17, we will have multiple events as we celebrate our 80th anniversary as independent country. Most of the events will be in Icelandic. This will attract more  visitors to the park and we have taken up some traffic control that can result in longer walking distance from parking lots. Map for the affected area can be found here.

One event in multiple languages is Whole world full of children and then we point in direction of Valhöll where some food trucks and more activity will be at hand. This is done in cooperation with Reykjavík Street Food.
