Guided tours on hold

Usually Þingvellir national park offers free guided tours at 10:00 from Þingvellir church every day in June, July and August. The only difference now are the many school visits in beginning of June. 

Þingvellir national park is used to greet school groups every spring but now they are more than ever. Therefore we are not able to maintain our guided tours around the historical site until Saturday June 4. 

We are sorry for this. An alternative is though our exhibition Heart of Iceland. Even though there is a minor fee the park´s history and nature are quite well described in this award winning interactive exhibition.
