Camping: Closed on our Grass Fields
Due to warmer weather and rain we have had to close for car traffic on to our grass fields at our camping grounds. We suggest that those who want to camp in their campers please use the parking lot at Fagrabrekka, see map below. From there it is just a short walk to Syðri - Leirar where visitors can use the facility there, showers and restrooms.
Please note that facilities at Nyrðri - Leirar next to our service centre is also open.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this can cause for everyone.
Fagrabrekka, located just south from the intersection 36/361/550 has a fairly large car park. There those who want to stay overnight in the national park in their campers can park. From Fagrabrekka it is only a short walk east to Syðri - Leirar where there are restrooms and showers.
